Many people are waiting in long lines to get free durians. Some shops give away 600kg of durians every day. Other shops sell durians for very low prices. People are very happy because they can eat a lot of durians.

Why are durians so cheap now? Malaysia grows about 550,000 tonnes of durians every year. This year, there are too many durians. Farmers planted many durian trees ten years ago. Now all the trees have fruit at the same time. There are more durians than people can buy.
