Teqball Makes Its Asian Games Debut

Teqball looks a little like football and table tennis together. Players use a football and a special curved table. They can touch the ball with most parts of the body, but not their hands or arms.

A player or team may use up to three touches before sending the ball back over the table. The ball can be kicked, headed or hit with another allowed body part.

Teqball made its Asian Games debut in Japan this month. Thailand won three of the five gold medals. The game began in Hungary in 2012. It is new, but it now has a place at one of Asia's biggest sports events.
