French Wildfire Creates Rare Fire Storm Cloud

A very big wildfire burned near Saumos in France. The fire was so hot that it pushed smoke and hot air high into the sky. It made a huge storm cloud.

This special cloud is called a fire storm cloud. It can make lightning. The lightning started more small fires nearby.

Firefighters had a very hard job. The weather around the fire changed quickly. Sometimes they had to protect towns instead of fighting the flames directly.

This kind of cloud is rare. It happens only when a fire is extremely strong.
